WHAT DO I NEED TO BRING OR WEAR FOR A VIRTUAL 1:1 CLASS?

Ideally you'll have a Pilates or Yoga mat, especially if you have hard floors. Or if you have carpet in your house a couple of towels will do. No fancy equipment is needed as we use our body weight working against gravity to make the exercises challenging. Clothes wise you'll want to wear something with stretch in, ideally leggings or tracksuit pants. Bare feet is also best but if you suffer from poor circulation then socks are ok.

WHAT DOES A NEUTRAL SPINE MEAN AND WHY IS IT USED IN PILATES?

A neutral spine is when the curves of the spine are in the correct alignment, which therefore places the least amount of stress on the joints. Pilates exercises are designed to promote good posture, we use the neutral spine/ pelvis position to initiate and perform the exercises. The quality of movement is always more important than quantity.
